Help & FAQ
Does Moda sell the clothes?
No. Moda finds them. Every piece links to the retailer that sells it; you buy there, with their checkout, returns and customer care.
How does the photo search work?
A vision model reads the garment's construction — silhouette, neckline, hemline, sleeve, fabric, colour, pattern and the era it echoes — and an image model compares it against every product photo we index. Results are ranked by visual similarity first, then by how many of those details agree.
What does “exact”, “close” and “similar” mean?
Exact: we're confident it's the same piece. Close: the same design or a colourway of it. Similar: the same idea in a different piece. The match meter shows the underlying score.
Are prices and sizes up to date?
Catalog data is refreshed daily, and the pieces you actually open are re-checked with the retailer live — price and sizes in stock — before you click through.
Can I search without a photo?
Yes. Describe the occasion, date, size, budget and any colours to avoid. The stylist turns that into a search and explains how it read your request.
Which retailers do you cover?
The list on the home page is current. We add retailers continuously; if you'd like one added, tell us.
Where are my saved pieces?
On Saved. They live in your browser until accounts launch, so they won't follow you to another device yet.
Do you use my photos to train anything?
No. Photos are used to run your search and are not kept afterwards. See the privacy policy.
